  1. I thought for sure that we'd see more Kruger. Good tips all, but finding a niche can be as elusive as finding a passion, I think. Of course, some folks know where they're headed right out of the gates. Lucky them! That word you dislike, "Influencers". Of course, you and BvS both had that on your nametags in Belfast. If you're influencing, you must be succeeding to some extent. Enjoy your travels, stay safe, and rock on!

  2. Great Video!! 👍👍Very inspirational! Last year I decided I wanted to become a Food Vlogger and for months I have been trying to find ways to stand out with an overly saturated area. After, watching your video, you just gave me an idea of a micro niche that has not been explored. I now have something to start my Youtube Channel in 2019! Thank you!!!👍

  3. Thank you very much for these tips; these are very helpful! One of my favorite things to do while I travel is to try a lot of local food. I am looking to restart my blog in addition to what I have been doing with YouTube for the past several years or so. I have a very good friend of mine who is helping me out with revamping the website, but once it is done, I want to get the blog going again. I will be taking your advice about making a lot of posts in regards to the different restaurants I visit. My food-related videos are popular on YouTube, so I feel that blog posts may catch people's interest. Thank you again!

  4. I wonder how would someone in such a position manage a relationship with someone who can't travel all the time, then? Is it worth trying to when they are based somewhere and you don't need to be?

  5. I don't like the term "influencer." Donald Trump is an influencer. You using the same word to describe yourself as an "influencer," that puts you in the same bathtub as Donald Trump.

If you want to be a travel vlogger, that's fine.

  6. Excellent video and tips. Inspiring and motivational. Can apply to those that don’t travel too, just need that desirable subject people want to read about. Thanks.

  7. Great advice I started Landscape Photography vlogging in February this year 2018 and I never really had a reason just to get my photo juices flowing for the right reason. Now with near 1000 subs I am so pleased people like my different style. It was people like Brendan that influenced me but your so right you have to be yourself and be honest with that, I did not think would get me but they do. I am even now moving into group days out and meeting so fingers crossed for 2019 and more travel. See you in two week.

  8. Another great video Jodie! I really like your friend Rich's Instagram as Rob of Stop Having a Boring life introduced him on one of his vlogs & I have been a huge fan of his ever since! I am really glad you have continued with these vlogs as they are a inspiration to many! Thank you very much for sharing & wishing you safe & happy travels always!

  9. Great advice! I wish I watched this before starting my channel, but I started before having a very specific niche was so crucial. 😢- Just curious, you make all kinds of awesome content, what would you consider your niche to be?
