(music) The way I have designed the course is a very much hands-on experience, plus some cases and lecture. When I say it’s hands-on, I
bring a lot of industry data which people work with. Some of the tasks they
will do in the class are exactly what they are
expected to do in their job. One, how do you create
a social media campaign? Can you create a sticky content? What makes a content sticky? And what makes your idea contagious that people will spread it? Eventually, we’ll go into some
sort of analytics in this. We look at website analytics. How do you optimize your website in a way that once a customer comes in, he doesn’t leave without
making a purchase. We eventually look into visual listening. There’s a lot of information that is shared online now in photos. There are about two billion images that are shared every day by users. So we try to figure out
what kind of information we can learn from images. So after this class, people could actually have a pretty good understanding of how to design a social
media marketing campaign. If you’re trying to go into
the space of marketing, most of the marketing right
now is digital marketing and social media marketing. This is definitely a
required course for you. If you are getting into,
let’s say, consulting, whichever area you go to,
you may go into finance, you go into accounting or anything, your employer probably expects that you know something
about social media. (music)
