Do you get affected by
anything on social media or..? -No.
-Right. Not at all. [BIG BOY] Did it
bother you beforehand? No, not at all. [BIG BOY]
Why not? Because I’m me. You know.
Um, I’m blessed. I wake up everyday. [BIG BOY}
Yeah, man. I get a chance to live a life
that people would dream of. So it’s kind of like
it’s just words. [BIG BOY]
And for a long time too. And on top of that, Big,
it’s like when I go outside or when I go to the club,
or when I’m making my moves, I don’t see that energy. You know, it’s almost
like The Matrix, like the things
that are said online– now, I’m not gonna
say everything because if you do something
too wild or whatever, if there’s some real stuff,
then it– you know, you might
walk outside and feel it, but for me, I don’t feel
none of the stuff that they say online.
It just don’t bother me. And this year, like,
I really been taking– And then, you know what,
if you don’t look at this, this don’t exist. -Exactly.
-You know what I’m saying? If you really, like– Man, there’s times
when I just detox from it and I’m like,
“Man, it don’t exist.” Would you be on social media
if you didn’t have to? I’m a lurker. [BIG BOY] Oh, okay.
I got you. I got you. Like, I’m a ghost follower,
so it’s kind of like I’ll be on there
just to watch. Like I haven’t posted-
like I just posted something, but I barely post now. Like maybe once
every two, three days or something like that.
But I do like to watch though. I gotta see what’s going on because the news now
hits so fast like I want to be–
you know what I’m saying? Like I want to be current. Like, that’s how
I found out about Nip. You know what I’m saying? In the car, I was in New Orleans
and I’m just lurking, -I’m like, “Wha?!”
[BIG BOY] Yeah, man. And then that’s when
I just started making calls. When it started
to unfold, huh? Yeah. So it’s like,
you know, social media has
its goods and its bads. You gotta know how to really
work with it and use it though.
